AAD 2023 SCIENCE OF NUTRACEUTICALS AND COSMECEUTICALS*

This session investigated the science surrounding topicals and orals for enhancing appearance. Topical skin care agents and possible complications were presented for a broad population, including skin of color. Innovations and market trends in topical anti-aging technologies and formulations for the face and body were also discussed. The session provided available data to aid the attendee in assessing the current state of cosmeceutical and nutraceutical science for implementation in clinical practice.
