Ceated in 2016, SILAB Softcare is a department from SILAB fully dedicated to the care of compromised skin. It develops, manufactures and markets patented active ingredients specifically designed to be used as part of dermo-cosmetic and dermatological care programs.
In 2026, SILAB Softcare celebrates its 10th anniversary! On this occasion, SILAB invited its customers to a scientific seminar focusing on the language of compromised skin, on Monday, April 13th, the evening before in-cosmetics Global 2026 tradeshow.
Understanding and reactivating the biological mechanisms of cutaneous repair
SILAB Softcare has a strong commitment to health, using latest-generation tools and technologies from the healthcare sector and expert resources from the dermatological sector. The original positioning of the products developed by SILAB Softcare revolves around several strategic focuses, among which reactivate the biological mechanisms of cutaneous repair inherent in the proper functioning of healthy skin. A brand-new active ingredient unveiled
On the occasion of its 10th anniversary and of this event, SILAB Softcare also unveiled its brand-new active ingredient: CICACTYL®. The result of 6 years of research, this natural active ingredient is able to accelerate and improve the skin healing process.
CICACTYL® complements the existing SILAB Softcare range of effective, safe and natural products, which already included AD-RESYL®, for the resilience of atopic skin (adults and children) and ACNESIUM®, to treat slight to moderate acne in adults.
